Our consultant, an experienced Systems Admin, will first conduct a survey of your current setup, interviewing key employees and asking them questions regarding their computer usage in order to get a better idea of the needs and objectives of everybody on your team. This will help him map out data workflow and understand how your business operates. Once the consultant has this data, they can then access the current IT hardware, and then work with the owner or executive team to identify any improvements that can be made, as well as any issues that need to be addressed, from their perspective.
Once all this information is collected, analyzed, we can then produce a report with our recommendations and proposed path forward, keeping in mind available downtime and budget. At this point, it is up to the client in regards to how they would like to proceed. Once a mutual course of action is agreed upon, our data techs can be scheduled as needed.
After IT upgrades are performed, all network information is documented into a report (README.odt), and placed in the appropriate shared file folder so that a future system admins can quickly get up to speed to with the current network layout, passwords, and read a log of past changes.
